BELFAIR — Wearing a yellow flower crown and an orange-and-black-striped butterfly wing cape, Kennie Calvert beamed as she accepted a certificate for her work helping to save an endangered species — from inside a prison.
SEATAC – 20-year-old John Nino was apprehended without incident in Tacoma on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 13. DOC officers have placed him back in custody. The case will be referred to local prosecutors to pursue charges of escape.
SEATAC – The Department of Corrections and local law enforcement are looking for John Nino DOC# 442216. The 20-year-old, who is 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 154 pounds, escaped while being transported, in wrist restraints, through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
