See prison facility notices below for information that may impact your travel plans. Please be advised that unforeseen security problems may interfere with visiting, causing delayed, shortened, suspended or cancelled visits. This is unusual, but it does occasionally occur.
Airway Heights Corrections Center (AHCC)
- Saturday, October 17, 2026: MSU visiting will be closed for the morning session.
- Friday, October 23, 2026: Main visiting will be closed for the morning session.
- Saturday, October 24, 2026: Main visiting will be closed for the morning session.
- Friday, October 30, 2026: MSU visiting will be closed for the morning session.
- Saturday, December 19, 2026: Main and MSU visiting will be closed.
Cedar Creek Corrections Center (CCCC)
- Saturday, October 17, 2026: Morning visiting is closed.
- Saturday, November 14, 2026: Morning visiting is closed.
Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC)
Effective September 18, 2026
Visits at the Washington State Reformatory (WSR) at Monroe Correctional Complex no longer require advance scheduling. Visitors should return to normal visiting procedures when planning and arriving for visits at WSR. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we return to normal visiting operations
- Friday, November 6, 2026: SRTC Visiting will be closed from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, November 7, 2026: TRU Visiting will be closed 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, November 14, 2026: WSRU Visiting will be closed from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, December 5, 2026: TRU Visiting will be closed 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, December 14, 2026: MSU Visiting will be closed 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, December 14, 2026: TRU Visiting will be closed 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Stafford Creek Corrections Center (SCCC)
- Saturday, October 24, 2026: Visiting will be closed 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and will open at 4:45 p.m.
- Saturday, December 12, 2026: Visiting is closed 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and will open at 4:45 p.m.
- Sunday, December 13, 2026: Visiting is closed 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and will open at 4:45 p.m.
- Friday, February 19, 2027: Visiting will be closed.
Washington Corrections Center (WCC)
- Saturday, October 24, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, December 12, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW)
- Saturday, November 13, 2026: Visiting will be closed for morning session and will reopen for evening session
- Sunday, November 14, 2026: Visiting will be closed for morning session only and will reopen for evening session
- Saturday, December 12, 2026: Visiting will be closed for morning session and will reopen for evening session
- WCCW's horticulture program will transition from Education to Correctional Industries (Cl). Read the Transition of Horticulture Program to Cl Memo to learn more (effective July 1, 2026).

Sign-up for Emergency & Incident Alerts
The Department of Corrections (DOC) is now able to send you emergency alerts, as well as non-emergency incident alerts, via text message, email, pager, and/or voice mail.
- Emergency Alerts: Could include hazards that require action be taken such as an evacuation, prison lock down, prison escapees, or other severe events.
- Non-Emergency Incident Alerts Could include significant transportation problems with prolonged impacts, or significant ongoing Corrections exercises or other activity.
This system will not be used for routine informational notices (see Prison Facility Alerts & Notices for this information). Alerts are provided free of charge, however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
