See prison facility notices below for information that may impact your travel plans. Please be advised that unforeseen security problems may interfere with visiting, causing delayed, shortened, suspended or cancelled visits. This is unusual, but it does occasionally occur.
Airway Heights Corrections Center (AHCC)
- Friday, February 13, 2026: Main visiting is closed all day.
Cedar Creek Corrections Center (CCCC)
- Saturday, February 21, 2026: Morning visiting will be closed. Visiting will resume as normal for the evening session.
Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC)
Thursday, February 5, 2026: MCC Extended Family Visiting Temporary Closure Update
At this time, Extended Family Visiting remains closed. A required part has been ordered to begin necessary repairs. However, it has not yet arrived, and repair work has not begun. As a result, there is currently no estimated date for returning to an operational status.
Once Extended Family Visiting is ready to reopen, families will be notified. At that time, detailed information will be shared outlining how families can begin scheduling their visits.
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as this work continues. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
Beginning January 1, 2026, all visits at the Washington State Reformatory Unit within the Monroe Correctional Complex will require advance scheduling. Please see the attached memo for scheduling directions
Stafford Creek Corrections Center (SCCC)
- Saturday, March 28, 2026: Visiting is closed 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Visiting will resume at 4:45 p.m.
Washington Corrections Center (WCC)
- Saturday, February 7, 2026: Visiting is closed 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW)
- Saturday, February 14, 2026: Visiting closed for MORNING SESSION ONLY, reopened for evening session.
- Saturday, March 28, 2026: Visiting closed for MORNING SESSION ONLY, reopened for evening session.
- Saturday, May 9, 2026: Visiting closed for MORNING SESSION ONLY, reopened for evening session.
- Sunday, May 10, 2026: Visiting closed for MORNING SESSION ONLY, reopened for evening session.
- Saturday, June 27, 2026: Visiting closed for MORNING SESSION ONLY, reopened for evening session.

Sign-up for Emergency & Incident Alerts
The Department of Corrections (DOC) is now able to send you emergency alerts, as well as non-emergency incident alerts, via text message, email, pager, and/or voice mail.
- Emergency Alerts: Could include hazards that require action be taken such as an evacuation, prison lock down, prison escapees, or other severe events.
- Non-Emergency Incident Alerts Could include significant transportation problems with prolonged impacts, or significant ongoing Corrections exercises or other activity.
This system will not be used for routine informational notices (see Prison Facility Alerts & Notices for this information). Alerts are provided free of charge, however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
