See prison facility notices below for information that may impact your travel plans. Please be advised that unforeseen security problems may interfere with visiting, causing delayed, shortened, suspended or cancelled visits. This is unusual, but it does occasionally occur.
Airway Heights Corrections Center (AHCC)

Friday, June 26, 2026: AHCC Main, Visiting is closed during the 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. session and will reopen for the 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. session.
Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC)
Effective May 8, 2026, visitors will not be able to check in or be processed 1:30 p.m. – 2:10 p.m.
- Saturday, June 20, 2026: MSC Visiting will be closed in the morning. Regular visiting open 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, July 17, 2026: MSU Visiting will be closed in the morning. Regular visiting open 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday, July 17, 2026: MSC Visiting will be closed in the morning. Regular visiting open 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC)
Beginning January 1, 2026, all visits at the Washington State Reformatory Unit within the Monroe Correctional Complex will require advance scheduling. Please see the attached memo for scheduling directions
- Saturday, June 27, 2026: TRU Visiting is closed from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 28, 2026: TRU Visiting is closed from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 25, 2026: TRU Visiting is closed from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, August 9, 2026: MSU Visiting is closed from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 15, 2026: TRU Visiting is closed from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, September 11, 2026: SRTC Visiting is closed from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Stafford Creek Corrections Center (SCCC)
- Saturday, June 27, 2026: Visiting is closed from 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Visiting will resume at 4:45 p.m.
- Friday, August 28, 2026: Visiting will be closed.
Washington Corrections Center (WCC)
- Saturday, June 20, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 27, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 18, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 8, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 22, 2026: Visiting is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW)
Effective July 1, 2026, WCCW's horticulture program will transition from Education to Correctional Industries (Cl). Read the Transition of Horticulture Program to Cl Memo to learn more.

Sign-up for Emergency & Incident Alerts
The Department of Corrections (DOC) is now able to send you emergency alerts, as well as non-emergency incident alerts, via text message, email, pager, and/or voice mail.
- Emergency Alerts: Could include hazards that require action be taken such as an evacuation, prison lock down, prison escapees, or other severe events.
- Non-Emergency Incident Alerts Could include significant transportation problems with prolonged impacts, or significant ongoing Corrections exercises or other activity.
This system will not be used for routine informational notices (see Prison Facility Alerts & Notices for this information). Alerts are provided free of charge, however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
