Commercial Motor Vehicle
A motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles which: 1) has a gross combination weight of 26,001 or more pounds inclusive of a towed until with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 10,000 pounds; 2) has a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds; 3) is designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver; or 4) is used in the transport of hazardous material requiring placards.

Community Custody
An individual's supervision status in the community under the authority of the Department where the Department has the legal responsibility for adjudicating violations. Community Custody applies as follows: 1) Community Placement-Community Custody: that portion of an individual's sentence served in the community in lieu of good time credit. 2) Individuals with a sex offense who committed their crimes on or after June 6, 1996, and are sentenced to Special Sex Offense Sentencing Alternative (SSOSA): the entire period of supervision is served on Community Custody status; supervision is for 3 years or for the duration of the suspended sentence, whichever is greater. 3) Individuals with a sex offense who committed their crimes on or after June 6, 1996, and are committed to Prison: the entire period of supervision is served on Community Custody status; supervision is for 3 years or for the duration of earned release time, whichever is greater. 4) Work Ethic Program (WEP) graduates who are on Community Custody: the portion of supervision up to the adjusted WEP maximum expiration date is served on Community Custody status; this is not in lieu of earned release time.

Contraband
