CONNELL — A minimum security incarcerated individual has escaped from the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC) minimum security unit near Connell in eastern Washington. The individual, 29-year-old Joshua Michael Lanter (DOC 414951), was discovered missing early this morning during routine checks. Lanter appears to have escaped early by climbing over a fence.
The Inmate Recovery Team from Coyote Ridge Corrections Center has been deployed to search for the individual. Additionally, the Connell Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff Department and the Washington State Patrol are assisting.
Lanter was wearing tan khaki pants and a white shirt when last seen. He is described as six feet tall weighing 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. If you see Lanter, do not approach, and please call 911 or the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center at 509-543-5800 immediately.
Lanter had a release date of September 2022 for convictions from King and Snohomish County for Robbery, Burglary, Malicious Mischief and Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission.
