"With Washington State beginning to open in segments, the Department of Corrections is following that lead and taking a step-by-step approach to resuming modified operations across the correctional system,” said Secretary Stephen Sinclair. “By utilizing data and science, the Department will take measured steps as it eventually returns to full operations within the scope of the new normal.
