Dwayne A. Woods

TUMWATER – Dwayne A. Woods, 46, passed away at approximately 11 p.m. on January 1, 2017 at the Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Wash. Mr. Woods went into cardiac arrest while under in-patient observation at the regional medical clinic for chronic illness. Mr. Woods was under the custody and supervision of the department while at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Mr. Woods’ body has been provided to the Benton County deputy coroner for an autopsy.

Mr. Woods was convicted on June 20, 1997 on two counts of aggravated first degree murder of Telisha Shaver, 22, and Jade Moore, 18. Both were murdered on April 27, 1996 in Spokane County.

Mr. Woods was sentenced to capital punishment and was one of nine inmates currently with that sentenceAdobe PDF document file in the State of Washington.
